My writing has always been somewhat a temporary outlet for the deep love and the pain that I carry within me; the passion, the longing, the sadness too; the unending struggles of knowing when to hold on and when to let go; the joy, the beauty; personal, everyday experiences.

In actuality, my poetry is mere conversation with my thoughts; for lack of talking.

The clarity and honesty of my expressions have touched many who have read my work and have moved them to tears as the writings resonate within them touching the core of their hearts and striking the chords of their own hurts, shattered dreams and broken hearts.

My poetry is the result of profound thoughts and heart rendering feelings transformed to paper, very private and honest. It consists of facts and actual events.

It resides between life and language and has its own personal style and voice. However, I have also written through the eyes of others.

This journey started years ago and continued because I am blessed and inspired with this gift to write and my unaware love and need to express my inner most self.

I’ve lived in Botswana, Egypt, and Scotland and now live in Switzerland with my ever-loving husband, son and daughter, who are the joys of my life; and I’ve heard similar experiences from various women of different cultures and worlds apart.

It is certainly not unusual or unfamiliar and we can all relate in someway or another.

I have taken this very brave step in sharing my experiences with you in the hope that I may touch your heart in someway, great or small. So many of us are hiding behind our clothing, our smiles but what is there to hide? It’s just life!
